“The Window Series pieces are markedly different from most of my work in that they're less about surface and more about depth.  There's lightness and breath in the coloration, and these pieces require the viewer to engage differently; to look through them and to consider the different experience of each side.”

Mujeres Cintura, 16.5 x 12 x 8 in This is truly my most painterly piece to date. I combined the feel of the Abstract Expressionist painter Kandinsky with the coloration of a female cardinal. This piece is created by layering many colors including cane, frit, hot glass, and fine silver on clear glass. Blown, flattened and twisted with a cut and polished top.
